Loved it, the flowers in the garden smelled great, the lodges were so nice and the food was authentical and very good. Great view too.

I really don't understand why this accomodation is rated 3.9 It is definitely the best value we had in Namibia. Obviously, you should not expect the same level of details you... read more can get from a remote lodge costing 300 USD per person and per night. However, the POSITIVE ASPECTS are: 1) Remarkable rooms, large and well-furnished, with lots of local craft 2) Splendid restaurant, serving fine local delicacies you can't usually find (I join a picture of the breakfast menu) 3) Gorgeous garden and pool area 4) Nice and considerate staff Some (minor) drawbacks: 1) We slept there on Friday night and the party next door, as said in previous comments, is actually pretty noisy. However, simple ear plugs were enough to stop hearing anything. 2) Mosquitoes abound, so you need to use the provided mosquito net and apply some repulsive before dinner.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tambuti Lodge. The lodge has beautiful, well-maintained gardens, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. It seemed that the lodge was mainly run by women, as we met friendly female staff during check-in, dinner, breakfast and check-out. They were all very welcoming and helpful. 😉 Everything was very clean, but some parts of the lodge were quite worn and in need of renovation. For example, some of the towels had holes and the mosquito screens had seen better days. Our room also had a beautiful freestanding bathtub, but unfortunately the water was too cold to enjoy a bath. The shower was also rather cold. We did not complain about this as we were only staying for one night. Considering the very reasonable price, however, we felt that we received excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend Tambuti Lodge.

Zeer goed verblijf gehad! We verbleven in de familiekamer. We waren met z’n tweeën, maar het was heerlijk om als afwisseling van onze 4x4-daktent even een ruime kamer te hebben... read more en de koffers goed te kunnen organiseren. De kamer zelf was voor Afrikaanse begrippen echt fantastisch. Verwacht geen westerse luxe, maar wel ramen met horren, een lekker zacht bed, veel schone handdoeken, een warme douche en een heerlijke patio voor het huisje om lekker in de zon te zitten. De tuin is prachtig onderhouden en de tuinmannen zijn erg vriendelijk. Er is bewaking bij de poort en bij de auto’s. De bediening is super vriendelijk en denkt graag met je mee. Het eten is heerlijk, met veel vegetarische en vegan opties, en alles is goed betaalbaar. Aanrader: via de lodge kun je een sunset cruise boeken bij Samsitu Campsite. Zij bellen voor je om het te regelen en je hoeft er alleen zelf naartoe te rijden. Daarnaast is er veel aandacht voor duurzaamheid: veel zonnepanelen en groenten, fruit en kruiden uit eigen tuin, maar ook dingen als afbreekbare rietjes. Ze verkopen ook allerlei producten van de moringaboom, zoals bladeren, poeder, capsules, maar ook zeep, bodylotion en olie. Super leuk om mee naar huis te nemen, zeker omdat moringa bekendstaat om de vele gezondheidsvoordelen. Al met al een absolute aanrader 😁
